Requirements for use
You are responsible for using DogPilot lawfully and in a way that does not impair other users, training groups, administrators, or the technical infrastructure.
You are also responsible for:
- providing only information you are allowed to use or share,
- handling invite links and invite codes responsibly,
- protecting your device and access,
- and independently verifying critical information before relying on it in a real-world context.
Acceptable use
The following actions are prohibited:
- attempting unauthorized access to groups, invites, or infrastructure
- sharing or redeeming invites in a misleading, abusive, or fraudulent way
- intentionally disrupting the service or technical systems
- using DogPilot for unlawful purposes
- uploading, sharing, or entering content that infringes the rights of others
We may take appropriate technical or organizational measures in the event of abuse.
Logins, invites, and current product state
DogPilot currently relies on visible login handling and invite-based onboarding.
This means in particular:
- a visible login is required before a private invite can be redeemed
- invites may expire, be revoked, or become unavailable
- older anonymous profiles from previous builds may need to be upgraded to a visible login before use continues
- unsupported or unconfigured platforms may show backend-unavailable states instead of live data
- not every visible action in the interface guarantees a final or persistent real-world result
Content and responsibility
Users remain responsible for the content they enter, share, or transmit through DogPilot, including names, group-related details, invite contact information, and support messages.
DogPilot may provide structure, guidance, and onboarding flows, but does not guarantee that user-provided content is accurate, complete, or suitable for every purpose.
Availability
We aim to make DogPilot available as reliably as possible. However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed at all times.
Availability may be affected by:
- maintenance work,
- ongoing product development,
- platform dependencies,
- network issues,
- or third-party service disruptions.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, all rights to DogPilot, including the software, brand, design, texts, graphics, and related materials, remain with their respective rights holders.
Without prior written permission, you may not:
- copy, resell, or commercially redistribute the software,
- reuse brand or design elements outside the permitted scope,
- or exploit protected content beyond lawful and intended use.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, DogPilot is provided without warranty for uninterrupted availability, complete freedom from errors, or continuous feature permanence.
In particular, we are not liable for:
- input errors made by users,
- failed invite usage caused by expired, revoked, or invalid references,
- misunderstandings between users and admins,
- data loss or disruption caused by third parties, devices, or connectivity issues,
- indirect or consequential damages.
Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
Changes
We may update these Terms of Use if features, legal requirements, operational processes, or the product state change. The most recently published version is the governing version.
